Being a Bridge, between people, ideas, communities, visions…a way of BEing in the world that I value and love. I am a bridge builder. And now, in this current chapter of life, and as a curious student upon this wondrous earth dance, I grow to know, quite possibly for the first time, about serving as a bridge within myself.
So while picking up the threads of discovery and understanding I left behind to tend to that which summoned me in necessary directions for a long while, I begin the weave between where I was and where I am traveling.
Please meet me on this bridge where we imagine a tapestry of dreaming together.
BLUE LIGHT
(Lyrics by AJ Wehr, Music by Wehr, Budd Kelly, Beth Claussen, Frank Ferraro - 2017)
Holding this phone in my hand
The room washed in blue
When you left the trash behind
Did you mean to leave us too?
Your walls held the wisdom
That always came thru
Now that you have gone away
When will we hear from you?
Night sky like scarlet fever
The eclipse in perfect view
Morning sun and snow both sparkle
As the birds sing out for you
Do you hear them in the blue?
I never did ask you
Of the dreams you held for me
From the place you dwell now
What is it that you see?
Can you tell me...what you see?
Can you tell me…
have they come
too
be?
